Day Thirty: 10 facts about you! And now, what are your stats?
- I live in Scotland
- My girlfriend is following the same diet as me
- I work in Media
- I’ve been eating chicken nuggets for lunch for a few days because I think the extra calories are actually helping me lose weight faster - I may have been starving myself slightly before.
- I’ve been buying new clothes that fit, my belts have gone through a variety of notch changes.
That’s all I can think of.. Wasn’t this whole challenge basically facts about myself? I think I should open it up to the ask box and if you want to know anything about me, I will answer them..
Start Weight: 95kg
Goal Weight: 76kg
Current Weight: 81kg
I usually measure in kg, but I like to look at stones and pounds - as I was brought up on using them. I was 15stone when I started (in July) and am now 12stone10pounds. I have lost 2stone2..
So any questions?
Day Twenty-Nine: Your definition of beauty?
I don’t know how to answer this one.. You know it when you see it.
Day Twenty-Eight: Do you want that “gap” between your legs? Why?
Okay, this is awkward..
I’m gonna say no, I don’t think it’s a good look on men.
Day Twenty-Seven: How do you deal with being around food?
I make everyone feel awkward and tell them why they are wrong to eat everything that I desperately want to eat.
No, actually I make a mental (or oral) note to eat whatever has made my eyes light up on Sunday, my cheat day.
For instance: Papa John’s just put a flier through the door with a delicious looking pizza. Sunday it will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine.
Day Twenty-Six: What excites you most about reaching your ugw?
Wearing what I want to wear.
People I know seeing the improvement in me.
But mostly, a lifestyle change that isn’t just reflected by my weight. A new way of living that I am content with and can be proud of.
Day Twenty-Five: Have you ever purged? If you have, describe your first experience.
I had to look this one up. More thinspo, inapplicable questions. I can’t even remember the last time I was sick, I don’t induce it..
Day Twenty-Four- How do you feel about the terms pro-ana/pro-mia?
I basically know what the first one means. Not sure about the second.
I don’t think about it, I don’t feel anything because it’s just not on my radar.
This is obviously a thinspo question that doesn’t really apply here. Move along.
Day Twenty-Three: Did the media play a role in your wanting to lose weight?
Hmmm.. Now this one’s a thinker.
I guess. I suppose that seeing some celebs and stuff inspired me to want to look a certain way. And 80s movies with montages made me want to train.
Day Twenty-Two: What was your lowest weight? How and why did you gain?
I’m basically at my lowest weight. I think the absolute lowest that I have seen on the scales is 82.6kg and I’m around there. Still a way to go.
I gain on Sundays. Cheat day. When I eat everything I’m not allowed Monday to Saturday. It’s worth it.
Day Twenty-One: What are your clothing sizes?
This can’t be that interesting, seeing as I am a guy, but I said I’d follow this 30 day challenge through - and by darnit, I will. Currently:
